Fiber variable ratio coupler with DISPLAY (DTDC) provides the tuning range of 0 – 100 % coupling ratio with a negligible optical loss. Evanescent field coupling using two side-polished fibers facilitates efficient optical power coupling with core-to-core geometric offset control. The tuning/coupling ratio can be monitored real-time by the built-in display.
